About NPTE
NPTE is administered by The Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) For both US and internationally-educated physiotherapists and/or physical therapist assistants to determine their readiness for safe, effective and independent physiotherapy practice. We offer Physical Therapy Exam Prep Course. Examination are based on NPTE blueprint, which consist of 250 multiple choice questions for PT and 200 questions for PTA examination. Out of which 200 questions for PT and 150 questions for PTA are scores with passing scale score of 600 or higher.
The content outline covers major physiotherapy areas to test the entry level knowledge of PT and /or PTA. For the complete content outlines go to the NPTE Content page. The NPTE is conducted through Prometric testing centers throughout the country. Upon completion of the exam, the score is then submitted to licensing authority of the state in which you are applying.
